Our Process
Most appliance repair complaints aren’t really about the broken appliance. They’re about not knowing what’s going to happen next: how long you’ll wait, what it’ll cost, and whether you can trust the person walking into your home. Here’s exactly how we handle every call, from the first ring to the final test.
You Call or Book Online
Tell us the appliance, the brand, and what it’s doing. If you know the model number, share it — it’s usually printed on a sticker inside the door or along the back or bottom of the unit — and it helps us bring the right parts on the first visit instead of guessing.
We’ll ask a few quick questions about the symptom, since that alone often narrows down the likely cause before a technician even arrives.
We Schedule a Real Arrival Window
Not an all day guess. You’ll get a specific window, and if something ahead of your appointment runs long, we’ll call or text to update you rather than leaving you wondering. Same-day appointments are available when scheduling permits, and refrigerator calls get priority whenever possible, since a warm fridge is the one repair that genuinely can’t wait.
We Diagnose Before We Repair
This is the step that matters most, and it’s the one a lot of companies rush past. Our technician tests the actual failure point rather than guessing at parts. You’ll hear what we found in plain language, not jargon, and why we think that’s the cause. If there’s a cheaper fix and a more expensive one, we’ll tell you both and explain the tradeoff.
You Approve the Plan
We confirm the exact price with you before any repair work begins. If we find a second issue once we’re inside the appliance, we stop and confirm the added cost with you before touching it, not after. If replacing the appliance makes more financial sense than repairing it, we’ll say so, even if that means we don’t get the job that day.
We Repair and Test
Once you approve, we complete the repair using quality manufacturer and aftermarket parts, and we test the appliance under real conditions before we consider the job done. That means actually running a cycle, checking the temperature, or confirming the ice maker produces ice, not just confirming the unit powers on. We clean up before we leave.
What Happens If You Decide Not to Repair
Sometimes the honest answer is that a repair isn’t worth it. If that’s the case, you only pay the diagnostic fee, nothing more, and we’ll explain why we think replacement is the better move so you’re making that decision with real information, not a guess.
After the Repair
Warranty on Every Repair
Every completed repair is backed by a 90-day warranty covering both parts and labor. If the same problem returns within that period, we come back and fix it at no additional charge.
Documented Invoices
If you’re a landlord or property manager, we provide a documented invoice for your records at the time of service, not something you have to request later.
